Being a tea used by the Spartans I was expecting a kick you in the face kind of flavor but I was pleasantly surprised by the gentle sweet mint flavor. This made sense once I read that Ironwort is from the same family as Mint.
That said I prefer this to most mint teas I've tried in the past.
The steeping instructions were perfect for avoiding the bitter after taste you can often find with other minty teas.
Overall it's a great tea to help calm and steady yourself either to start your day or end it.
